–Represented large corporations, developers, real estate private equity firms, lenders, and real estate investment companies in the acquisition, development, leasing, financing, construction, and disposition of office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and entertainment projects throughout the U.S.
–Lead counsel to a real estate investment and development company in its acquisition of an upscale shopping center and other significant acquisitions throughout the U.S.
–Represented a developer in a mobile home and organic farming project in Louisiana for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
–Served as lead counsel to one of the largest owners of thoroughbred horse racetracks in North America on numerous projects.
–Represented a real estate investment company in connection with the acquisition and disposition of two separate hotels.
–Counseled wind developers in real estate development, acquisition, financing, power purchase, and in the regulatory aspects of wind farm development, including projects involving the largest public and largest independent wind developers in North America.
–Counseled biotechnology, healthcare organizations, manufacturing, industrial, nonprofit, schools, professional, hospitality, distribution, retail and development clients in multi-million dollar strategic leasing, development, construction, and real estate acquisition and disposition projects, specifically including green building and leasing projects.
–Represented lenders in complex, multi-state workouts, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure and foreclosure of real estate secured loans, loan modifications and loan origination for permanent and construction financings, as well as mezzanine financing.
–Lead counsel to national institution lender on a $38 million commercial loan secured by eight properties in five states.
–Represented the borrower in a $1.2 billion CMBS loan on a high profile shopping center, and represented the borrower in reviewing offering circulars for the stand alone securitization of the loan.
–Counseled banks and borrowers in post-foreclosure REO properties and in multi-million dollar large corporate and middle market syndicated loan originations, including international facilities.
