Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Sharon O. “Sheri” Jacobs has joined the firm’s Nashville office as Of Counsel.
Sheri represents companies, local governments, and nonprofit organizations with regard to administrative, regulatory, environmental, zoning, land use, and municipal matters. She is an experienced regulatory lawyer and litigator who has represented clients before administrative boards and at the state, federal, and local levels. Her experience includes matters associated with sustainability, solid and hazardous waste, multi-million dollar transactions, Brownfield redevelopment projects, underground storage tanks, water pollution, environmental citizen suits, Superfund remediation projects, endangered species, stream mitigation projects, air pollution control, and various types of administrative law issues.
Sheri is recognized as a leader in her field by Best Lawyers in America, Mid-South Super Lawyers, and received an AV-Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. She is a member of the Nashville Bar Association’s Environmental Law Committee, the Tennessee Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section, the Lawyers Association for Women, the Missouri Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Sheri received her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law.
