Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney Cindy A. Villanueva has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as Of Counsel.
Ms. Villanueva focuses her practice primarily on trademark prosecution, counseling, enforcement and licensing, as well as providing trademark litigation support. She assists clients with all stages of securing trademark protection with an emphasis on the selection and enforcement of trademarks, domestically and internationally. As part of her practice, she represents clients in a wide variety of disputes involving trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and rights of publicity. In addition, she helps companies and individuals with brand development, audits, clearance, and worldwide registration issues; licensing and assignment transactions; and with clearing all aspects of advertising, promotional and marketing materials and products.
Ms. Villanueva sits on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association, and the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project. She is recognized as a leader in her field by Southwest Super Lawyers “Rising Stars”. Ms. Villanueva received her B.A. from the University of California, Irvine and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
