
Michael advises clients across industries, structuring complex technology transactions and addressing issues related to data privacy, security, and AI. Drawing on his in-house experience, he blends legal knowledge with business insight to provide practical solutions.
Commercial Contracting
Michael regularly structures and negotiates technology related agreements, including SaaS, licensing, joint development, master services, consulting, and reseller/white-label agreements. He aims to structure agreements that advance business objectives while managing risk, performance obligations, and regulatory considerations.
Product Counsel
Michael serves as product counsel for a number of clients, working closely with product, engineering, and business teams to support the design, development, and launch of technology products. He often advises on commercialization and go-to-market activities, helping companies balance speed to market, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Data Privacy
Michael advises clients on U.S. and international data privacy and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and CPRA. He helps companies negotiate privacy and security obligations in commercial transactions, manage cross-border data flows, and address compliance challenges arising from emerging technologies (e.g., cloud computing, AI, etc.).
Data Center Operations
Before entering legal practice, Michael managed enterprise infrastructure initiatives, where he managed distributed application migrations as part of a global data center strategy. This experience gives him a unique perspective when advising on outsourcing, infrastructure, and other data center related technology agreements.
