Holly Zoe is a Member and part of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Holly’s practice centers on real estate and corporate matters with an emphasis on socially good projects in the spaces of renewable energy, healthcare, not-for-profits, and small- and mid-sized family owned businesses. In the context of renewable energy, Holly has experience with both acquisitions of existing projects (in various stages of completion/operation) and development of new projects from conception to construction and operation. Holly’s experience also includes project finance. 

Holly serves as an advocate, advisor, and counselor for her clients with respect to a wide range of issues including project development deal negotiation and acquisition, formation and governance, finance and restructuring, real estate acquisition and disposition, land use and zoning matters, and general business matters. 

Holly also represents state and local governments on a variety of matters including real estate and land use, public record and FOIA requests, and certain litigation matters. Holly has provided general counsel services to local governments, and has experience defending state and local governments in certain civil rights and constitutional matters such as those arising out the First and Fifth Amendments. Holly’s experience working with state and local government provides unique insight for her clients who often require counsel to interface with the government on their behalf. 

Holly is admitted to practice in Arizona and Michigan. She is recognized as a leader in her field by Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch”. Holly received her B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University and her J.D. from Arizona State University.

  • Representation of state and local government in successfully defending civil rights litigation brought under 42 U.S.C. 1983 in Arizona and Michigan alleging various violations of the United States Constitution.
