David R. Durell

Leveraging his background in business, real estate, tax, private equity, and finance, David Durell focuses his practice on hospitality-driven commercial real estate transactions, including hotel acquisitions, development, financing, and operations. He advises owners, developers, and investors across the full lifecycle of hospitality assets, from acquisition and structuring through management, repositioning, and disposition.

David regularly counsels clients on hotel and resort transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures, financing arrangements, and management and licensing agreements. His experience spans complex, multi-faceted deals involving hotels, mixed-use developments, and food and beverage components, where he helps coordinate the legal and business elements necessary to move projects forward efficiently.
