
Aaron Thomson has nearly 20 years of experience serving as outside general counsel to privately held businesses, executives, and entrepreneurs, with a focus on real estate development. His practice covers a wide range of transactional work, including drafting and negotiating contracts, structuring business entities and joint ventures, and advising on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate deals, and financing.
Aaron often helps developers navigate complex projects from start to finish, resolve partnership and shareholder disputes, and manage risk in practical, cost-effective ways.
He works closely with clients to understand their business goals and provide advice that fits their needs. Aaron also teaches U.S. contract law to international students as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington School of Law.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, son, and dog.
