Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Nate Johnson and Zac Lackey have joined the firm’s Columbus office as Associates.
Nate concentrates his practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, and transactional tax matters. Before joining Dickinson Wright, Nate gained valuable experience at a Big Four accounting firm in their mergers and acquisitions department. He works closely with colleagues across different practice areas to offer clients seamless and effective legal solutions tailored to various industries. Nate received his B.S.B.A. from Oklahoma State University, his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
Zac focuses his practice on energy, sustainability, and environmental law. He assists energy companies with all phases of development and operation, including permitting, compliance, and other regulatory matters at the Ohio Power Siting Board, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, and the local level. Zac also conducts thorough environmental due diligence in support of mergers and acquisitions and counsels clients in environmental law and regulatory compliance. At Dickinson Wright, Zac leverages his diverse background, meticulous analytical skills, and industry-specific insights to proactively address energy and environmental permitting, operational, and compliance challenges, mitigate risks in corporate transactions, and effectively manage regulatory proceedings. Zac received his B.A. from The Ohio State University and his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School.
