Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Kristen Hudson (Member, Austin) has been named an official nominee for the Austin Business Journal’s 2026 Women in Business Awards. Finalists and winners will be announced at a luncheon on Friday, August 21 at the JW Marriott Austin.
The Women in Business Awards program honors women in Central Texas who have forged their own path by overcoming obstacles and solving complex challenges. Official nominees have developed their own leadership principles through mentoring young talent and bringing success to her clients and community. The event features an awards program honoring this year’s class of nominees, as well as announcing the finalists, winners, and rising star winner. “I am honored to be selected by the Austin Business Journal as a member of their 2026 official nominee class. This list is filled with such talented and accomplished women business leaders, and it’s a privilege to be included among their ranks,” said Kristen.
Kristen represents businesses and business people in complex commercial litigation and class action defense in state and federal courts in Texas, Illinois and across the country. Kristen seeks to avoid litigation where possible, but if litigation becomes necessary, she fiercely protects the rights of her clients. A battle-tested trial lawyer, Kristen has won high-stakes challenges in a variety of substantive areas, from breach of contract, employment disputes, business and statutory torts, including fraud, RICO, and the False Claims Act claims, to intellectual property disputes including the protection of trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, patents, and privacy.
