Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney John C. Wright has joined the firm’s Nashville office as Of Counsel.
Mr. Wright’s practice is focused on counseling clients in various corporate matters, business insolvencies and restructurings, and commercial litigation. His corporate and transactional practice includes advising clients on stock and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and other general corporate matters. In his insolvency and restructuring practice, he focuses on representing creditors and other parties in interest in out-of-court workouts, chapter 11 reorganizations, chapter 7 liquidations, and associated litigation in distressed situations. Mr. Wright has widespread experience across multiple practice areas and industries.
Mr. Wright’s prior experience includes serving as a law clerk for the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of New York and practicing for several years in New York at a boutique insolvency and restructuring practice and at a New York based international law firm focusing on, among other things, complex commercial litigation and transactions.
Mr. Wright is a member of the Nashville Bar Association. He received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, his J.D. and LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John’s University School of Law.
