Jeffrey Kass was recently quoted in the BusinessDen article “Lakewood company says biased BBB leads public to think it's government,” explaining his client’s suit against the Better Business Bureau’s Great West & Pacific chapter, alleging the organization misleads consumer’s based on its rating system and may deter or impact current and potential customers. Jeffrey explains, “When you hear the word ‘bureau,’ you think that it is a part of the government. And with that comes some more legitimacy. People might think, whoa, they’re not rated by the government or they have a bad rating by the government.”
