Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Robert Driscoll, Lee Petro, and Alfred Carry have joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Robert Driscoll is a Member in Dickinson Wright’s Washington, D.C. office. He represents corporations, governmental entities, and individuals in high-stakes criminal, civil, and congressional investigations and in the defense of criminal and civil actions. He has represented high-profile government and former government officials, corporate executives, and private citizens in grand jury and congressional investigations, Special Counsel matters, and various public and non-public investigations. A former Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Chief of Staff of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Bob brings to his practice his substantial governmental and legal experience to advise clients in matters investigated by legislative branch bodies or committees of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, as well as executive branch agencies. Bob is recognized as a leader in his field by Chambers USA and is an AV-Preeminent Peer-Review Rated Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Federalist Society and periodically teaches courses (most recently Federal Courts, and an upcoming course on Congressional Investigations) as a Lecturer at the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America. Bob received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
Lee G. Petro is a Member in Dickinson Wright’s Washington, D.C. office. He brings 27 years of experience advising his clients before the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, Congress, and state public utility commissions. His focuses include regulatory compliance, emerging technologies, transactions, and intellectual property. He represents broadcasters and wireless and satellite companies on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and spectrum leasing, and advises clients on state and federal regulatory efforts associated with the adoption of Artificial Intelligence technologies. Lee is recognized as a leader in his field by The Legal 500 and received the Federal Bar Communications Distinguished Service Award. He serves on Law360’s Telecommunications Editorial Advisory Board. He is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, serving as its President in 2018, and the Federal Communications Bar Foundation, serving as the Chairman in 2007. Lee received his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
Alfred Carry is Of Counsel in Dickinson Wright’s Washington, D.C. office. He defends individual and institutional clients in high-stakes litigation and investigations.
