Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that the firm has adopted the American Bar Association’s Resolution 113 urging law firms to “expand and create opportunities at all levels of responsibility for diverse attorneys.”
“We are pleased to adopt ABA Resolution 113 as we continue our efforts to create a diverse and inclusive culture for all of our lawyers and employees,” said Harlan Robins, Co-Chair of Dickinson Wright’s Diversity Committee. “At Dickinson Wright, we know that hiring and retaining a diverse workforce represents a commitment to equality as a fundamental component of our corporate values and those of our clients and other key stakeholders.”
ABA Resolution 113 was adopted by the organization in 2016 and:
“Urges all providers of legal services, including law firms and corporations, to expand and create opportunities at all levels of responsibility for diverse attorneys and urges clients to assist in the facilitation of opportunities for diverse attorneys, and to direct a greater percentage of the legal services they purchase, both currently and in the future, to diverse attorneys.”
