Nashville Attorney Autumn Gentry recently wrote “3 Steps to Protect Trade Secrets Under the DTSA,” for Inside Counsel.
The article focused on the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), which federally protects a business’s or individual’s trade secrets including copyrights, patents and trademarks. This federal protection allows a business to file a private civil lawsuit if a trade secret that is related to a product or service used in, or intended for use in, interstate or foreign commerce is misappropriated.
