John S. Artz Named a ‘Go To Lawyer’ for Intellectual Property Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that John S. Artz (Member and Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group Co-Chair) has been named a ‘Go To Lawyer’ for Intellectual Property Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
Now in its third year, the “Go To Lawyer” program recognizes leading lawyers in a particular field of law. Honorees will be profiled in a special section in the March 28 print and digital issues of Michigan Lawyers Weekly. “I am honored to be selected by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as a ‘Go To Lawyer’ for Intellectual Property law. This list is filled with such talented and accomplished attorneys,” said John.
John has more than 25 years of experience and practices in all areas of intellectual property litigation. He also has extensive experience in the acquisition, management, and prosecution of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret assets. He serves as lead counsel for many companies in federal courts across the country, including the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Patent Office and the U.S. Supreme Court. John is recognized as a leader in his field by Chambers USA, Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars, Best Lawyers in America, and DBusiness Top Lawyers. He is past President of the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association and is currently a co-chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Federal Bar Association for the Eastern District of Michigan. John received his J.D. from the Detroit College of Law.
