Dickinson Wright PLLC continues its expansion into the Southeast with the opening of its sixteenth office in Ft. Lauderdale.

Joining Dickinson Wright’s Ft. Lauderdale office will be Attorneys Clint J. Gage, Joel D. Mayersohn, Alan J. Perlman, and Sarah Cavanaugh. Below is a description of each of Dickinson Wright’s new attorneys and their practice areas:
Clint J. Gage, Member – Mr. Gage focuses his practice on corporate securities law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, corporate governance, ’34 Act reporting and general corporate matters. He also has extensive experience representing financial institutions in commercial loan transactions and workouts. He received his B.A. from Michigan State University and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
Joel D. Mayersohn, Member – Mr. Mayersohn specializes in corporate, securities and business law. He advises a diversified client base in public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and general securities, as well as corporate law matters. He also has experience in venture capital, going private transactions, bridge loans and pipe financings. He received his B.A. from The State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. from The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.
Alan J. Perlman, Member – Mr. Perlman focuses his practice in the area of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, with a concentration in corporate Chapter 11 reorganizations, insolvency related litigation, complex business disputes and state law assignment proceedings. He received his B.A. from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.
Sarah Cavanaugh, Of Counsel – Ms. Cavanaugh’s practice focuses on corporate and business law, including mergers and acquisitions. She has considerable experience in counseling clients regarding all stages of business strategy, from choice of entity issues and corporate governance matters to complex mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She received her B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
