Ryan Cooper is a partner in Dickinson Wright’s corporate practice group. His practice includes mergers & acquisitions, financing, and general corporate and commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on corporate and partnership structuring.
Ryan has experience representing individual, corporate, and private equity clients in the acquisition and disposition of small and mid-market businesses. He also advises lenders and borrowers on secured financing transactions.
Having also practiced in the areas of commercial leasing, commercial real estate, and employment law prior to joining Dickinson Wright, Ryan is equipped to support clients on all of their business needs.

- Represented a wealth management and capital markets firm as the lead agent and book-runner in a restaurant acquisition and private placement offering, involving common share subscription receipts and convertible debenture subscription receipts.
- Retained by a prominent North American bank to assist with documentation and advice for the bank’s new art lending facilities.
- Served as borrowers’ counsel to a cannabis holdings company in substantial amendments to its syndicated term loan facility.
