Benjamin I. Mehr

Based in the firm's Washington DC office, Benjamin Mehr is a member of the firm's Political Law practice group. His practice focuses on counseling candidates, officeholders, tax-exempt organizations, and political committees on political law issues such as compliance with campaign finance laws, enforcement actions, investigations, government ethics rules, and litigation.

Before joining Dickinson Wright, Benjamin worked in the Chief Counsel's Office at the Republican National Committee, where he was responsible for managing the RNC's national litigation portfolio, managing state-level legal operations, and providing legal counsel on campaign finance and election administration issues. Additionally, Benjamin was previously a political appointee serving as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Education.
