Mark Shapiro recently spoke at a Toronto Maple Leafs press conference alongside Darryl Sittler, discussing the 50th anniversary of Sittler’s historic 10-point game in 1976, a single-game National Hockey League (NHL) record he still holds to this day. 50 years after the jersey Sittler wore on that historic night went missing, Mark Shapiro and Joey Arfin were on a quest to find it. When the jersey came up for auction, Mark and Joey acquired the famous Sittler jersey and, 50 years after it went missing, reunited Sittler with the jersey. “It’s an incredible record, but more importantly he’s an incredible person. It's an honor and privilege to be a part of this and his life, it's just amazing,” shared Mark. To watch Mark, see time stamp 15:59 here.
