Dickinson Wright LLP, Canada’s leading full-service business law firm specializing in cross-border counsel, is pleased to announce that Sanjukta Tole has joined the firm’s Toronto office as a Partner.
Sanjukta is an Intellectual Property lawyer who is highly experienced in the Canadian trademark prosecution process. She provides clients with strategic guidance in enforcing their intellectual property rights with a focus on domain name and Internet-related disputes, expungement proceedings and trademark infringement actions. She also advises clients on licensing agreements, IP due diligence, co-existence arrangements and technology/privacy contracts.
Sanjukta is an active member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, the International Trademarks Association, Canadian Bar Association and MARQUES, having served on numerous committees. She has written extensively for numerous publications including as co-author of Hughes on Trademarks (LexisNexis Butterworths), Trademarks Act & Commentary (LexisNexis), and written chapters in Canadian Forms & Precedents, Halburys’ Laws of Canada (Lexis), and Canadian Trademark Law Benchbook (Westlaw Carswell). Sanjukta was recently appointed to the Board of Examiners for the established College of Patent and Trademark Agents.
