Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Scott A. Petz (Member, Troy) has been named to the Global Advisory Council 2023-2024 by the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
EDRM Global Advisory Council is composed of contributors, lawyers, judges, in-house counsel, and other legal professionals to help guide the organization’s ongoing projects and planning. EDRM creates global practical resources to improve e-discovery, privacy, security and information governance. EDRM has a presence in 145 countries and supports individuals, law firms, corporations and government organizations seeking to improve the practice and provision of data and legal discovery. Petz is a Member in the Firm’s Troy, Mich. office where he focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and business litigation, class and collective actions, labor litigation, consumer protection, and condemnation and land use. Mr. Petz regularly litigates high stakes and complex matters, and consults on non-litigation matters. Mr. Petz received his B.A. from Kalamazoo College, cum laude, and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, magna cum laude.
