Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Patrick L. Anderson has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as a Lobbyist.
“I’m excited for this opportunity to join Dickinson Wright and join my colleague Teddy Eynon as we continue to build the firm’s national government relations practice in D.C.,” said Patrick Anderson. “Dickinson Wright has always had a strong stable of government relations, municipal law and public finance lawyers and I look forward to working with them to address our clients’ government relations and public policy concerns here in Washington.”
Mr. Anderson has more than a decade of experience supporting the needs of governmental entities, manufacturers, technology startups, and trade associations in the development of comprehensive models for achieving regulatory and legislative goals, and assisting clients in effectively responding to policy and political concerns. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Anderson drafted a multi-year government relations strategy adopted by a Fortune 500 Company and analyzed political risk of investments for several hedge funds and private equity groups.
During his career on Capitol Hill, Mr. Anderson worked for a senior member of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, during which time he also served as co-director of the Congressional Border Caucus and played a significant role in establishing the Congressional Hispanic Conference and the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute. He also previously worked for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs during the development of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Mr. Anderson received his B.A. in economics from Saint Joseph’s University.
