Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Marlene Pontrelli, member in our Phoenix office, has co-authored two new textbooks.
Ms. Pontrelli, who is a certified specialist in Family Law, has co-authored the law school textbook entitled “Family Law in Focus,” published by Wolters Kluwer in the Focus Casebook Series. The textbook concentrates on noteworthy legal cases and summarizes the general law of marriage, divorce, support, and child custody. Ms. Pontrelli’s book “Fundamentals of Litigation for Paralegals”’ now in its Ninth Edition, published by Wolters Kluwer for their Aspen College Series, was also just released.
Ms. Pontrelli has written several books, including the recently published Divorce in Arizona and Daily Meditations for Healing from Divorce. She is a frequent lecturer in the area of family law and has conducted workshops throughout the country on time management and living a balanced life.
Ms. Pontrelli focuses her practice on all aspects of family law including dissolution, post-dissolution, paternity, child custody and child support matters. She is admitted to practice in California and Arizona. She is a member of the State Bar’s Family Law Practice and Procedure Committee and is a judge pro tem for the Superior Court of Maricopa County in family law. She has extensive trial and appellate experience including appearing before the Arizona Court of Appeals, Arizona Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
