Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Nicholas Lee has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a Member.
Nick is an intellectual property and business attorney who helps clients develop, protect, and maximize the value of their intellectual property. With nearly two decades of experience in litigation, counseling, and procurement, he works with businesses of all sizes—both domestic and international—to secure patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
In addition to his patent and trademark law work, Nick has significant experience in patent and trademark enforcement, brand protection, and litigation. He has handled numerous Schedule A cases, aggressively defending intellectual property rights against e-commerce infringers operating on online marketplaces. Nick has successfully pursued injunctive relief, asset restraints, and damages against counterfeiters and unauthorized sellers, helping clients protect their brands in the digital marketplace. He is highly sought after by patent owners nationwide for his expertise in assisting with enforcement actions against infringers on e-commerce platforms. Additionally, he represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) in oppositions and cancellations, advising businesses on navigating disputes over trademark registrations and defending their intellectual property portfolios against challenges.
Nick received his B.S. in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Purdue University and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
