Kathleen Campbell Walker Named to National Law Journal’s 2020 Immigration Law Trailblazers List

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Kathleen Campbell Walker, Member and Immigration Practice Group Co-Chair in our El Paso office, has been named to the National Law Journal’s list of Immigration Law Trailblazers.
The National Law Journal recognizes professionals who have moved the needle in the legal industry. Kathleen has over 30 years of leadership in the practice of immigration law and she is prior national president and general counsel to the American Immigration Lawyers Association. “I am honored to be selected by the National Law Journal as a trailblazer in Immigration Law and to join such a talented and accomplished group of immigration attorneys,” said Kathleen.
Ms. Walker was national president of AILA from 2007 to 2008 and in 2014 was the recipient of the AILA Founder’s Award, which is awarded to the person or entity making the most substantial impact on the field of immigration law or policy in the preceding period (est. 1950). She currently continues to serve on AILA’s Board of Governors and is a member of its national U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Headquarters Benefits Policy committee. She is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has testified several times before Congress on matters of immigration policy and border security. Currently, she is one of ten lawyers in the United States ranked in Band One by the Chambers and Partners independent lawyer ranking service in its Global Guide and is one of 11 lawyers in the nation in Band One for the Chambers USA Nationwide rankings.
