El Paso Lawyer Kathleen Campbell Walker was quoted in Law360 Article titled, “TN Visas Survive Trade Deal, But Challenges May Remain”.
Kathleen said that as NAFTA gives way to the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, there may be unforeseen issues with moving existing visa holders to the new system, revamped applications for the visas and procedural changes.
"We're worried what may happen in the future procedurally. Under the TN program, Canadians could just present themselves at a port of entry. That was one of the primary advantages of the program. We don't know whether or not that will continue," said Kathleen.
