Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney James A. Ullman has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as Of Counsel. Mr. Ullman joins the firm from Quarles & Brady.
With more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Ullman began his career as in-house counsel for a company seeking to become a franchise system and fully comprehends the needs of franchise businesses as an advisor. He has worked on a number of significant deals during his career, including some for national and multinational corporations and major financial institutions.
Mr. Ullman is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum Committee on Franchising, American Arbitration Association, State Bar of Arizona, and Vice Chairman of Citizenship Counts, Inc. He is recognized as a leader in his field by Best Lawyers in America, Southwest Super Lawyers (named a Top 50 attorney), Martindale-Hubbell Ranked AV® Preeminent Lawyer, and AZ Business Magazine as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona. Mr. Ullman received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo.
