Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Lawyers Ned Levitt and Andrae Marrocco have been selected as Franchise Times Legal Eagles for 2016.
Mr. Levitt is a Partner in Dickinson Wright’s Toronto office. He is one of Canada’s leading authorities in franchising and distribution law. He has represented some of the world’s foremost franchises, and provides legal services to Canadian and international clients on all aspects of Canadian franchise law. Mr. Levitt is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising, the Canadian Franchise Association, the International Bar Association, and the International Franchise Association. He is recognized as a leader in his field by several publications including Best Lawyers in Canada, Who’s Who Legal, Canadian Legal Lexpert, and Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Levitt received his B.A. from York University and his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Mr. Marrocco is a Partner in Dickinson Wright’s Toronto office. He advises Canadian and international businesses on all aspects of Canadian franchise and distribution law including advice on expansion strategies, negotiation of franchise, distribution and licensing agreements, regulatory requirements, trademarks, acquisitions/dispositions, disputes and enforcements. He has worked with a range of franchise businesses from start-ups to mature international franchise systems in industries such as restaurant, retail, healthcare and commercial services. Mr. Marrocco has developed particular expertise in providing seamless Canada/US cross border legal advice through Dickinson Wright’s unique North American platform to clients conducting business on both sides of the border.
