Benton Bodamer Selected as a "40 Under 40" Honoree by Columbus Business First

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Benton Bodamer has been selected as a “40 Under 40” honoree by Columbus Business First.
Columbus Business First’s “40 Under 40” celebrates those individuals who achieve significant accomplishments in both their professional and personal lives and have a tremendous impact on the Columbus community at a young age. This year’s class will be celebrated at the 27th Annual 40 Under 40 Gala on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel. Mr. Bodamer is a Member in Dickinson Wright’s Columbus office where he focuses his practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and state-compliant cannabis transactional matters. He represents a number of leading international private equity sponsors, and a wide range of public and private companies. He regularly advises clients on their most challenging domestic and cross-border corporate transactional matters. He has also contributed nearly 3,000 hours of pro bono legal services to worthy non-profit organizations over his career.
Mr. Bodamer is an Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he teaches a cannabis business course (CannaBiz) as part of the college’s Drug Enforcement and Policy Center. He also serves as a board member to non-profit organizations Besa Community and NoticeAbility, and as an advisory board member to Calmer Choice. He received his A.B., magna cum laude (Phi Beta Kappa), from Harvard College, his M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, and his J.D. as a Moritz Scholar at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
