Join Dickinson Wright and Trevor Whiffen (Partner, Toronto) for the 12th Annual PrimeTime Sports Management Conference on November 17-19, 2019 at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto. Mr. Whiffen is once again co-chairing this event alongside Brian Burke, Sportsnet Analyst and former NHL General Manager. He will also moderate the panel “Current Issues in Sports Law: Protecting Your Players, Teams and Leagues.”
Speakers for this year’s conference include Gary Bettman (Commissioner of the National Hockey League), Donald Fehr (Executive Director, NHL Players Association), Nick Sakiewicz (Commissioner of the National Lacrosse League), Kevin Abrams (Assistant General Manager, NFL New York Giants), and Masai Ujiri (President, NBA Toronto Raptors).
The PrimeTime 2019 Sports Management Conference will feature top executives from across all major sports in North America, including hockey, football, baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, motorsports, track and field and mixed martial arts. The conference will deal with current issues involving the operation of sports leagues, creative marketing strategies, attracting new television properties and viewers.
