William V. Vorys

Member

Will Vorys focuses his practice on government relations and administrative law, advocating public policy at the Ohio statehouse and assisting clients with regulatory compliance.  He brings over ten years of experience navigating different levels of state government and lobbying members of the legislature, the Governor’s office, and administrative officials on a wide range of complex legislative issues.

Will represents all manner of interests before the state’s General Assembly and executive agencies, including several diverse business, association and non-profit clients.  These include major stakeholder coalitions like the Ohio Association of public Joint Vocational School Districts, large businesses like a national brewer with an Ohio manufacturing facility, and many smaller not for profit institutions. He tends to focus on education, workforce, healthcare, and energy policy, but has robust experience advocating and resolving niche, individualized legal and regulatory issues for all types of organizations operating or doing business in Ohio.  He also often successfully represents clients seeking appropriations during the state operating and capital budget processes.

Will and his wife Mary reside in Gahanna, Ohio with their three children and golden retriever.
