Patent Agent

Steven Vosen focuses his practice on patent drafting and prosecution, providing patent services to a wide range of clients, including high-technology companies, individual inventors, and research organizations. He advises clients throughout the patent lifecycle and brings a strong technical background to the development of clear, well-supported patent applications.

Prior to joining the firm, Steven practiced as a registered patent agent, where he prosecuted U.S. patent applications, assisted with international patent prosecution, and drafted infringement and validity analyses. His current practice emphasizes providing in-house patent support and guiding clients through the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.

Before entering the legal field, Steven spent more than sixteen years working as a research engineer, conducting applied experimental and computational research across multiple areas of mechanical and chemical engineering. His experience includes work involving laser-based diagnostics, combustion phenomena, air pollution control, nuclear waste management, advanced energy systems, and semiconductor wafer processing. He has authored more than 50 scientific publications and is the sole inventor on two patents related to semiconductor wafer processing.

Drawing on this extensive technical experience, Steven works closely with clients to protect innovations across a broad range of technologies, helping them navigate complex patent matters with practical, business-focused guidance.
