A Technical Advisor in Dickinson Wright’s intellectual property department, Robert Lyksett focuses on medical devices and design patent applications. Since the cornerstone of any design patent is the drawings, Rob’s ten years of experience illustrating patents give him a unique advantage in this competitive field. From creating USPTO-compliant drawings to writing amendments, Rob can assist the Dickinson Wright team in prosecution from beginning to end and is ready to help our clients protect their unique designs!

Rob attained his Masters’s Degree in Medical Device Innovation from the University of Minnesota and is passionate about helping clients in the medical device industry protect their ideas.
