Jasmin Singh

Technical Advisor
Dr. Jasmin Singh is a Technical Advisor with Dickinson Wright’s IP Litigation practice group. She has 20+ years of experience in diverse fields of research and development, both academic and industrial, as well as 6+ years of patent litigation experience.

As a Technical Advisor, Dr. Singh provides litigation support through early-case assessment, patent infringement and validity analysis, analysis of claim language and claim constructions, claim chart and invalidity chart preparation, patent portfolio analysis, IP business strategic counseling, and source code review.

Her areas of interest include computer software, computer hardware, telecommunications, physics, and biology. Dr. Singh worked as an engineer specializing in telecommunication and digital signal processing (DSP),  including various aspects of simulation, algorithm development and implementation, parallel programming, optimization and development of new hardware.  She has developed, implemented and simulated algorithms for 3G and 4G telecommunication standards, including physical layer algorithms such as channel coding algorithms.  In addition to support for technology patent litigation, she has also provided support for ANDA litigation projects.

Dr. Singh has analyzed multiple large patent portfolios pertaining to various wireless telecommunication standards to identify standard essential patents, including W-CDMA, LTE and LTE Advanced standards.

Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University with a thesis subject in wave propagation in random media.
