Kristen Nelson is an associate in Dickinson Wright’s Detroit office, focusing her practice on corporate law, particularly mergers and acquisitions. She actively supports companies in navigating mergers and acquisitions to facilitate business growth and consolidation. Kristen’s background as a college basketball player instilled a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to perform well under pressure, skills she brings to her legal practice. During law school, she gained practical experience as a student-attorney in the Arts & Entertainment Clinic, handling complex legal matters for real clients. Kristen also served as a Senior Editor for the Detroit Mercy Law Review, where she reviewed citations and edits to ensure the articles met publication standards.
