Justin Quach is a lawyer in Dickinson Wright’s Toronto office whose practice focuses on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial transactions, partnership and shareholder matters, as well as emerging businesses and business succession planning.

Justin works with a range of clients — from start-ups to generational family businesses — across a wide variety of industries. He advises automotive dealer groups, security and monitoring companies, auto finance companies, food and beverage manufacturers and distributors, private equity firms, professional services providers, technology-driven businesses, and other founder-operated companies.

With an entrepreneurial background, Justin supports both domestic and foreign clients in advancing their strategic and commercial goals within North America through a practical, business-focused approach. He works closely with the firm’s U.S. lawyers to provide seamless guidance on cross-border matters.

Commercial Bakeries is a portfolio company of Graham Partners, a private investment firm headquartered in Philadelphia, USA, targeting advanced manufacturing companies.
  • Acted as Canadian counsel to a U.S.-based private investment firm in the acquisition of a major U.S. connected safety and monitoring company.
  • Acted for SigmaQ, a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury packaging and display solutions in Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States, in its strategic partnership with Visual Elements Manufacturing Inc., a Canadian designer and manufacturer of customized fixtures, furniture, architectural elements, and visual merchandising solutions.
  • Acted as lead agent and sole bookrunner on behalf of a major wealth management and capital markets firm, representing a group of agents in an oversubscribed short-form prospectus offering of common shares for a scientific corporation.
  • Represented a systems software company in the acquisition of substantially all assets of a developer of cloud-based computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Engaged by a major insolvency firm to handle corporate, tax, employment, and regulatory matters.
  • Acted for IQware and Megasys, hospitality software providers operating in Canada and the U.S., in their sale to Fullsteam, a U.S.-based payments technology software provider.
