Lawyer Jacob Frenkel recently wrote an article titled “MF Global-PwC Fight Could Set Troublesome Precedent,” that was published on Law360.
The article discusses the case MF Global filed against its former audit firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Mr. Frenkel says that “the glaring misperception created by the mere filing of the case is that PwC had or should have some responsibility for the collapse of MF Global.”
Mr. Frenkel is a member in Dickinson Wright’s Washington, D.C. office and chairs the firm’s government investigations and securities enforcement practice. He is a former U.S. federal criminal prosecutor of public corruption and securities law, a former SEC enforcement lawyer, and has served as an expert witness in restatement and private equity fund cases.
