Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce the addition of a ten person transactional group to our Toronto office. This group focuses on sophisticated real estate, leasing and corporate/commercial matters.
“We are thrilled that this group of exceptional transactional lawyers have joined our Toronto office,” said Michael C. Hammer, CEO of Dickinson Wright. “Their commercial real estate, leasing and corporate/commercial expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and business acumen strengthen our Firm, our Toronto office, and our firm-wide transactional practices. This group will not only continue to provide uninterrupted and unmatched legal services to the clients they currently service but will be able to expand our offerings for our existing Canadian clients, as well as access our US markets for the benefit of all firm clients.”
“As one of the first cross-border firms in Toronto, we continue to expand our footprint in Canada by recruiting lawyers who complement and deepen our already strong bench of transactional lawyers on both sides of the border. This remarkable team of lawyers does just that,” said Mark Shapiro, Managing Partner of Dickinson Wright LLP and a member of Dickinson Wright’s Management Group. “Our clients appreciate the practicality and the efficiency of having their lawyers, their trusted advisers, able to assist them on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border.”
The ten new lawyers bring Dickinson Wright’s Toronto office to over 60 lawyers who specialize in a range of practice areas, including corporate/commercial, real estate, leasing, litigation intellectual property, labour & employment, insolvency & restructuring, gaming, and tax.
