Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Cindy Villanueva (Of Counsel, Phoenix) has been elected Communications Director for Los Abogados Board of Directors. Los Abogados is an affiliate member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA).
“I’m honored to be elected Communications Director for Los Abogados Board of Directors,” says Cindy. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members, the membership, and the community to continue the advancement of the Latino community.”
Los Abogados is dedicated to enhancing the legal profession by promoting diversity, improving the quality and administration of legal services, encouraging education in the Latino community, supporting the just application of Civil Rights, and advocating for the Latino community. Cindy practices in the areas of domestic and international trademark and copyright prosecution, licensing and enforcement as well as intellectual property litigation. She assists clients with brand development and with identifying various protectable aspects of the clients’ products, services and concepts. She is recognized as a leader in her field by Southwest Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in IP Litigation. She received her J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law.
