Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Christopher D. Cathey has joined the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office as a Member.
With more than two decades of experience in litigation in and out of the courtroom, Mr. Cathey has represented companies and individuals in a broad range of high-stakes business litigation matters, with an emphasis on financial services, corporate, real estate, and creditors’ rights litigation. He represents a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 entities to entrepreneurial businesses in both state and federal courts nationally. In addition, his litigation practice also involves directors’ and officers’ liability claims, professional liability and tort claims, employment, non-competition and trade secret litigation.
Mr. Cathey is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and has been recognized as a leader in his field by Super Lawyers. He is also a Fellow in the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers and is a member in the Broward County Bar Association, the Palm Beach Bar Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Cathey received his B.A. from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
