Some of the real estate practice’s primary areas of expertise include:
- Acquisitions, development and sale: Involvement in all aspects of the process, including: permitting, land use and zoning, governmental incentives, construction contracting and Brownfields development for commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use projects, and property tax appeals.
- Leasing: Assisting landlords, developers and tenants in the leasing and sub-leasing of all commercial property types, including office, commercial, industrial, health care and entertainment/mixed-use properties.
- Financing: Representing both borrowers and lenders with all forms of real estate financing, including construction and longer-term commercial and multifamily commercial mortgage transactions (including CMBS and GSE loans), multi-state sale-leaseback transactions, synthetic leases, public and tax-exempt bond financing (handled by the firm’s Municipal Finance Department), and workouts, loan restructuring and foreclosures.
