
Nan is uniquely qualified in patent prosecution. Prior to practicing law, he interned in Dickinson Wright PLLC’s Intellectual Property Academy for six years under the academy director who has over 50 years of experience in patent preparation. Nan is also fluent in both Chinese and Japanese. He is specialized in patent prosecution including patentability opinions, patent preparation, and response to office actions. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the fields of chemical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and material arts.
