Keith P. Driscoll

Associate

Mr. Driscoll is an associate in our Troy Office. He has assisted clients in intellectual property matters from individual inventors to fortune 500 companies. He has assisted clients in patent, trademark and copyright matters. With regard to patent matters, he has assisted clients in the automotive, biomedical, and golf industries. 

Mr. Driscoll joined Dickinson Wright PLLC in 2014 as a Law Clerk in Dickinson Wright’s Intellectual Property Academy. As a Law Clerk, Mr. Driscoll worked full time and attended evening law school. Prior to joining Dickinson Wright PLLC, Mr. Driscoll worked as a Law Clerk in another prominent law firm’s Intellectual Property Intern Program, where he also worked full time and attended evening law school. As a Law Clerk, Mr. Driscoll gained experience in patent and trademark prosecution, provided litigation support, and conducted legal research. More specifically, Mr. Driscoll gained experience by drafting patent applications, responding to office actions, conducting patentability, non-infringement, and validity opinions, drafting patentability reports, drafting answers and complaints and drafting enforcement letters. Since become an Associate, Mr. Driscoll has continued to develop and expand upon these skills to serve the Clients of Dickinson Wright PLLC. 

Mr. Driscoll received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2012, and his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2017. While in law school, he earned a Dean’s Scholarship. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.

Mr. Driscoll is also an Adjunct Professor at the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Law where he teaches the Intellectual Property Law Firm Program course.
