Laura G. Hopkinson

Laura is a Senior Law Clerk and Manager of Corporate Services bringing more than 25 years of experience to the firm. She is consistently involved in the drafting of franchise agreements, franchise disclosure documents and other supporting franchise documentation. Laura is also responsible for drafting documentation required in franchise purchase and sale transactions including agreements of purchase and sale, assignment documentation and releases. She works closely with the franchise group members in the firm in completing these transactions. Laura is thoroughly familiar with franchise legislation enacted in the various provinces.

In addition to franchise law, Laura has an extensive background in corporate/commercial law including incorporations, amalgamations, amendments and dissolutions, minute book reviews, purchase and sale transactions as well as tax and estate restructurings.
