Deborah has been a paralegal since 1988 where she began her career in Florida assisting 13 attorneys in all aspects of Probate & Trust Administration, including guardianship and conservatorships, annual accountings, and preparation of Federal estate and gift tax returns; Estate Planning including trust funding; Real Property transactions including preparation of lender documents for both residential and commercial transactions and the examination of public records for issuance of title insurance, and conducting mortgage settlement proceedings; Family Law; Corporate Law - preparation of documents to form entities and assist clients in keeping the entities compliant with state law; and assisting in discovery and trial preparation in Litigation proceedings including preparation of witness. For the past twenty years she has been the paralegal to Michael H. Allen, whose practice consists of corporate law, estate planning, and probate and trust administration.
Deborah is a certified legal assistant and has been a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants since 1991.
