
Christopher Ryan is a civil litigator with a special focus on the healthcare industry and co-chairs the firm’s healthcare litigation task force. For over a decade, Chris has represented businesses, physicians, hospitals, and insurance companies in a wide range of litigation matters and in all phases of litigation. He has assisted clients in matters of medical malpractice, licensing investigations, breach of contract, medical staff issues, billing investigations and audits (including RAC audits) and employment.
Chris also has experience representing businesses and individuals in high stakes litigation and alternative dispute resolution outside of the healthcare industry. He regularly handles complex litigation including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes, business/shareholder disputes, and lawsuits involving noncompetition agreements.
He is admitted and has practiced in courts throughout the State of Michigan (including the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court), and has appeared in several federal courts throughout the United States. He is also licensed to practice in the State of Arizona.
