Andrae I. Shaw

As an Associate in Dickinson Wright’s Toronto office, Andrae concentrates his practice on commercial and business litigation. He has experience in contract disputes, commercial arbitrations, product liability claims, professional negligence, and other tort claims. In addition to assisting on matters before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, he has represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, and the Small Claims Court.

Andrae received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was awarded the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Prize for the highest standing in Business Organizations. During law school, he gained extensive courtroom experience as a Senior Division Leader at Osgoode’s Community Legal Clinic, where he represented clients charged with summary criminal offences at the Ontario Court of Justice. Prior to joining the firm, Andrae was an associate at a mid-sized firm located in Toronto, where he was a member of the insurance practice group.
