A patent attorney in Dickinson Wright's Troy office, Ahmad El-Bkaily has a background in electrical engineering and computer science. He joined DW following over seven years of experience as a software patent examiner at the USPTO, and has also worked as a surgical robotics lab assistant.
During his time at the Patent Office, Ahmad examined countless user interface patents from many of the world’s largest tech companies (including IBM, Apple, Google, Adobe, Oracle, and Amazon). His firsthand experience as an examiner makes him a valuable member of the firm’s patent team.
