Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce K. Lance Anderson, member partner in our Austin office, has been named Practice Group Chair for the Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology group of the Intellectual Property division.
“I am honored to help continue growing Dickinson Wright’s healthcare and life sciences initiatives, and appreciate the opportunity to integrate this firm’s capabilities on behalf of our Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology clients,” said Anderson.
Anderson has extensive experience and background in technology transfer and emerging technology, pharmaceuticals/life sciences, high-tech, health-IT, agricultural, and biotechnology, among others. He prepares and negotiates technology and intellectual property-focused transactions, as well as technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex commercial transactions. A registered patent attorney, Anderson also conducts patent prosecution, due diligence for licensing, and acquisitions, technology agreements, strategic planning, patent prosecution, trade secrets, employment mobility, and related operational legal issues.
Anderson represents clients within the innovation and research enterprise including R&D, clinical and regulatory matters, strategic collaborations, CRADA’s, manufacturing, distribution, engineering services, institutional technology transfer, confidentiality and materials exchange, and related alliances.
