Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce the expansion of the firm’s Phoenix office with the addition of three new attorneys in the past month.
Joining the Phoenix office are new members Timothy McCulloch and Edward “Teddy” Eynon. Attorney Carlos Gutierrez joins the Phoenix office as Of Counsel. The addition of the three lawyers further solidifies Dickinson Wright’s Phoenix footprint and strategically places the firm in seventeen major commercial markets in the United States and Canada.
“Phoenix has been a key part of Dickinson Wright’s national strategy as we continue to expand the expertise of the office,” said Stephen Richman, based in Phoenix and member of the firm’s Governance committee. “This is an ideal opportunity to deepen the bench strength of our full-service firm in the Phoenix market by adding three attorneys to our team. This expansion also increases our practice offerings for businesses in Arizona and provides our clients with better nationwide coverage.”
Timothy I. McCulloch is a Member in the firm’s Phoenix office. He focuses his practice in business and commercial litigation with particular emphasis on the aviation industry. He represents numerous commercial aircraft operators, flight schools, fixed-based operators and airport sponsors. He also represents banking institutions seeking to judicially or non-judicially foreclose upon aircraft loans. He has defended aircraft operators, fixed-based operators and airport sponsors against negligence claims, and has first-hand experience with airport land use, Part 16 complaints, permitting, noise, hangar condominium development, environmental, and grant assurance compliance issues. He has litigated disputes between competing fixed-based operators spurred by allegations of procurement code and federal grant assurance violations. He also represents commercial aviation interests and is experienced in corporate aircraft ownership, aircraft management and leasing structures. He has substantial experience with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and unmanned aerial systems (UAS). He has negotiated Letters of Agreement (LOA) for near airport operations and consulted with UAV and UAS operators in obtaining Section 333 waivers, COA’s, and SAC’s as well as FAA regulatory compliance. Mr. McCulloch received his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine and his J.D. from the University of California, Davis.
Carlos Gutierrez is Of Counsel in the firm’s Phoenix office. He helps clients effectively resolve commercial and employment-related disputes. He handles a wide range of issues, including cases involving aviation law, civil malicious prosecution, construction law, contracts, conversion, copyright infringement, employment law, enforcement of judges, fraud and fraudulent transactions, joint ventures, landlord-tenant, partnerships, real estate law, successor liability, tax appeals, trade secrets and unfair competition, and tortious interference. Mr. Gutierrez received his B.S. from Arizona State University and his J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law.
Edward “Teddy” Eynon is a Member in the firm’s Phoenix and Washington, D.C. offices. He represents clients in a wide range of matters related to government relations and public policy at all levels of the federal government, including: energy and environment, budget, defense, healthcare, financial services, transportation and infrastructure, congressional investigations and oversight, and homeland security policy. As Deputy Chief of Staff to former Arizona Congressman John Shadegg, Mr. Eynon has a comprehensive understanding of the legislative process, which enables him to effectively assist clients in developing strategies for promoting, defeating or providing input on pending legislation. He regularly monitors and analyzes federal and state legislative and regulatory processes, leveraging this knowledge to formulate strategies that aid in the enactment of state and congressional legislation. Mr. Eynon received his B.A. from Denison University and his J.D. and LL.M. from Pace University School of Law.
